Waverley Album Listening Party July 2025

This month's fundraising Album Listening Party event for Dorothy House at The Waverley in Chippenham will be on Wednesday July 23rd from 7.30pm, with the music starting around 8pm. This month we will listen to two albums using the donated Dorothy House hi-fi system and will have some live music entertainment too.

We will have a live performance from Chippenham's own singer-songwriter artist M3G who has played at many Wiltshire venues but has had big stage support slots with Frank Turner and Jools Holland elsewhere. We will be starting the evening by playing the 2009 album 'Lungs' by Florence & The Machine who are cited as an influence by M3G. M3G will then play a short acoustic set and discuss their music and will have some merchandise for you to purchase. We will end the evening with the classic 1975 album 'The Hissing Of Summer Lawns' by Joni Mitchell.

As usual the event is open to everyone and is free to attend, but voluntary donations to the Hospice are very welcome. Come along early to grab a good seat and a drink ready for the music to start.
