The Story Of Soul

Get ready for a night to remember! The Story of Soul is a show like no other that takes you on a musical journey through the history of soul music. From 1959 when the sounds of Tamla and Stax began to emerge creating a powerful, genre-defying groove, into the chart-topping 70s, the Electric 80s, the RnB-fueled noughties and beyond. With expert musicianship from the sensational groove band and explosive performances from the excellent cast, the styles, the sounds and the soul of each era each one a defining moment, all woven together in one spellbinding evening. There’ll be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide from artists like Wilson Pickett, Sam and Dave, Tina Turner, The O’Jays, Jocelyn Brown and Luther Vandross.
