Start 2026 the right way with one of Cardiff’s longest-running music nights. Running since 2009, the Earl Haig Club’s Monday Night Open Mic & Jam Session has grown into a real local institution — a place where first-timers, seasoned players, and curious music lovers all feel right at home.
Whether you’re stepping on stage for the very first time or you’re a regular who knows every inch of the room, this is your night.
Every performer gets a guaranteed 15-minute slot, and you’re welcome to go it solo or link up with others for a spontaneous jam.
And to close the night with a bang, The host band will hit the stage around 10:30 PM for a full live set.
