Formed in 1984, The Red Hot Pokers have carved out their place as masters of their craft, blending blues, country, soul, and reggae into a rich, unmistakable sound. Their live shows are pure energy – decades of experience poured into deep grooves, soaring guitar solos, and powerful vocals that keep audiences hooked from the first note to the last.
Their musical pedigree is second to none. Alongside headlining their own shows, they’ve backed legendary American blues and rock ’n’ roll greats including Lowell Fulson, Carey Bell, Lazy Lester, Frankie Ford, Big Al Downing, Nappy Brown, and Big Jay McNeely. They’ve toured across Europe, Canada, and the Far East, and in the early 2000s even became Van Morrison’s touring band, featuring on his acclaimed album You Win Again.
