Top Brass Trio

Top Brass Trio is formed of three friends who met whilst studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama; Corey Morris (Trumpet), Tom Taffinder (Horn), and Dafydd Thomas (Trombone). Corey and Dafydd have recently become full time members of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, on Principal Trumpet No. 3 and Principal Trombone No. 2 respectively. Dafydd was previously 2nd Trombone with Welsh National Opera.

Top Brass Trio is a dynamic and versatile group that have performed throughout the UK, regularly featuring live on BBC Radio 3 and on BBC Songs of Praise. They are committed to music education and continue to entertain and inspire young audiences nationwide, by breaking down the boundaries of classical music.

Members of the group work in settings such as the National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain, National Youth Ensembles and the RWCMD Senior and Junior Conservatoires.
