Mythlab and the Cardiff Storytelling Circle present
Ben Haggarty and Steph Brittain
The Bodies on the Beach
A fatherless son
A daughter?s lament
A pig stolen from its spit
Fires burning out at sea
And a dream
On the westernmost tip of Ireland, a beach of crystal white sand once ran crimson with the blood of a never-ending magical battle ? the last battle fought by the epic hero, Fionn MacCumhaill.
Ben Haggarty and Steph Brittain share a work-in-progress, picking through and piecing together fragments of voices, medieval manuscript, and song that tell a story of love and loss.
Raw, lyrical, and unforgettable. This is not just a wild myth retold. It?s an exploration of what it means to live, to regret, to sacrifice, and to endure in a relentless world.
What will survive the tide?
