An enchanting evening which delves into the lives of trailblazing women Aphra Behn and Clara Schumann to explore the profound connections between love, music, and literature.
The concert features Ensemble Serafin performing piano trios by Clara Schumann and Brahms, bridged by poignant excerpts from poems and letters read by Harriet Walter (subject to availability), promising an unforgettable celebration of love where words and music beautifully intertwine.

Acclaimed Olivier Award-winning actress, and the niece of Christopher Lee, Harriet was awarded a CBE in the Queen's New Year's Honours List in 2000.

Viv McLean
One of Britain's foremost classical pianists who has performed throughout the world as a concerto soloist, chamber musician and recitalist. Viv has performed concertos with such leading orchestras as the London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, Philharmonia, English Chamber, Halle and BBC Concert Orchestra. He won the First Prize at the Maria Canals International Piano Competition.
