We're toptastically excited to be bringing another night of comedy to Shelford Rugby Club on November 21st!
Headlining is Christian Reilly!
Christian’s first comedy gig was in the Perrier Award-winning show, ‘Rich Hall is Otis Lee Crenshaw’. He is a global comedy circuit headliner and has appeared at numerous international comedy festivals, on BBC radio and TV, and in four series of the Chortle Award-winning stand-up and sketch show ‘Richard Herring: As It Occurs To Me’.

Opening Act - Mark Row!
Since his first gig, Mark has continued to perform all over the country, at some of the biggest comedy clubs in the land, working with acts he loved watching long before he ever dreamed of stepping on stage himself and was delighted to find himself gigging alongside Jack Dee, Dara O’Brien, Arthur Smith, Hal Cruttenden, Nick Helm, Adam Bloom and Joe Pasquale amongst many others.
He has built a solid reputation as an up-and-coming act, and is widely talked about as ‘one to watch’ amongst those in the know. With a world-weary take on life, he has an eye for relatable and sometimes outrageous comedy that never fails to hit the spot. In 2024 he was asked to support Terry Alderton (Live at the Apollo/Eastenders) and BGT winner Axel Blake as part of their UK tours.
Middle Act - Prateek Kohli
Christian Reilly
Now a solo headline act all over the globe, Christian uses his improvisations, sharp wit, youthful energy, guitar skills and vocal mimicry to target histrionic rock bands, musical theatre and morose indie musicians with his charming onstage confidence machine-gunning impossibly catchy tunes with hysterical lyrical content. His solo Edinburgh Festival Show, ‘Lost In Music’ was sold out, critically acclaimed and was the winner of the 'Spirit Of The Fringe' Award. In 1999 Christian started playing guitar and singing for the American comic polymath Rich Hall. High points included winning the Perrier Award in 2001 for "Rich Hall is Otis Lee Crenshaw", being on subsequent CD and DVD releases, seeing the world, appearing on stage with Seinfeld star Michael Richards and getting on Late Night with Conan O' Brien. He was a regular on a BBC radio show with the Richard Herring, called That Was Then, This Is Now that was critically acclaimed and lasted for 3 series. This led to a key role in Herring’s groundbreaking podcast, As It Occurs To Me which ran for three years and won a Chortle award for best internet comedy and appearances on Radio 2’s ‘Jammin’. 'So much biblical gusto and zest it is impossible not to be possessed by his optimistic persona' (Broadway Baby). 'If you’re a fan of Bill Bailey or Rich Hall, you’re probably a Christian Reilly fan already' (The Guardian). ‘LOLternative Rock’.

Mark Row
Mark Row has had enough. After 17 years of teaching, he longs to escape the barrage of inane questions, the endless carousel of uninspiring classes, and the attitudes of kids that stink worse than their PE Kits. So whilst he taught, he toured, embracing a new life in the world of stand up comedy, and it turns out that a career built on having a laugh just to get through the class, has provided him with an 'outstanding lesson' in how to entertain!
