Barn Dance

What could be better than a proper Barn Dance in a real barn? And a spectacular heritage barn at that!

Fabulous Gloucestershire band Sargent's Mess will be providing the rousing tunes, with experienced caller Rob telling you all the steps as you go along. Suitable for all ages. No experience is necessary. Chaos and fun guaranteed!

Doors and the bar open from 6pm - you are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds. Please note, only drinks bought at the Barn may be consumed on site.

The band will play from 7pm. Dancing starts at 7.30pm and the band will take a break in the middle of the evening. The bar is open all evening so you can flop down with a drink if you get too hot! Dancing is not absolutely compulsory, and if you prefer to just listen to the band and watch the action, that's fine too. So come along with your friends and family, and enjoy a sociable midsummer evening with traditional folk music and lots of fun.

Free parking at the Barn. If you need a wheelchair accessible space please email ceara.foley@winterbournebarn.org.uk  . Plenty of space for bicycles, and for drop off / pick up if you prefer to arrange this. Buses Y1, Y2, Y6 (operated by First) run along Winterbourne High Street.
