A Night To Be Torn Apart Tour

AVATAR

Metal band from Sweden. Avatar and their followers are the ones who dare to see their full potential, not afraid to stare deep into whatever darkness that comes their way. Founded in the then young Swedish boy John Alfredsson’s mind by the turn of the millennium, they have always stood for relentlessness and determination. With the addition of every new member the energy has risen like a mushroom cloud. Avatar means a God in disguise. Nothing but greatness is accepted. With the blunt force that is metal music Avatar has set out to claim their kingdom; Earth. The music is as always, rooted in the extreme, with plenty of melodic sensibility and a lust for experimentation. There is a love for intense double bass drumming, riffing and shredding of timeless dimensions alongside rough edges, slow grooves and epic storytelling for the ages.

Alien Weaponry

Alien Weaponry is a three-piece thrash metal band from Waipu, New Zealand, formed in 2010 by brothers Lewis and Henry de Jong, who were 8 and 10 years old at the time. The band consists of Lewis de Jong (guitar and vocals), Henry de Jong (drums), and Ethan Trembath (bass guitar). The band is most noted for its fusion of Te Reo M?ori (the native language of New Zealand) with thrash metal – delivering emotionally and politically charged stories of conflict and grief with a warrior-like attitude. Drummer Henry de Jong says, 'Our musical style and messages have a lot of similarities with haka, which is often brutal, angry and about stories of great courage or loss.'
