Punch Brothers

The name of the band comes from a Mark Twain short story Punch, Brothers, Punch! Although firmly anchored in bluegrass, the band's music defies attempts to label it… 'bluegrass rock', 'folk-jazz' and 'avant roots string band' have all failed to stick, but how do you sum up a band that regularly play Bach as an encore?!
