Last of the lovely days are a Brighton based, female fronted melodic indie pop band making music inspired by jangly indie, 60’s girl groups and 80’s new wave.

Helen McCookerybook is an outstanding songwriter whose beginnings formed in the punk era. In the 80s she was lead singer and bassist of the Chefs who played with Dolly Mixture many times, so this makes it a very special reunion.
