The Golden Dregs is the project of the magnificent Benjamin Woods. With a musical approach inspired by 70s Americana and jam bands - The Basement Tapes, The Grateful Dead and the Mussel Shoals scene - Ben's music is jangly summer-summoning pop for the hours when the sun is disappearing below the sea.

Singer/songwriter Sophie tries to paint pictures and atmosphere with words and a delicately-plucked guitar. A sound which began in the conventional female singer-songwriter vein is developing into something more poignant and ethereal.
