The Legend Returns

The Kiwi icon returns to the stage with a brand new stand-up show for 2025.

In a world full of AI and Robot tech can a simple dad with slightly tight jeans stay relevant? Ancient Astronaut Theorists say yes! Rhys hopes to prove that right now a touch of very human silliness is more important than ever!?

Perhaps his unique human skills, once thought of as absurd, might just be useful after all!

Rhys Darby

New Zealand's biggest comedian, who uses a myriad of characters, physical theatre, sound effects and side-splitting stand up in his shows, exploring the roots of man and his joy. Rhys first gained attention outside of NZ as Murray in HBO's Flight Of The Conchords. Also appearing in films, he made his debut in Yes Man and went on to feature as one of the DJ's in The Boat That Rocked. His career has taken him from his homeland of New Zealand, to the UK and beyond, performing his unique brand of humour in places as far flung as Iceland to the Falkland Islands, and in festivals from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to Montreal's Just For Laughs. 'Godspeed time-travelling disco soldier' (Chortle) 'He has that Peter Sellers madness inside him' (Jim Carrey).
