Hot 8 Brass Band
New Orleans Grammy winners Hot 8 Brass Band are extraordinary, raw and funky brass band. The Hot 8 are famous for playing all day in the sun, then hopping to a club gig and playing through the night. But even more than their boundless energy, what makes them special are the sounds they coax from their well-loved, well-worn horns.
Transcending genres and trends, Hot 8 have performed and collaborated with the likes of Jon Batiste, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Basement Jaxx and Alice Russell, and provided live support for Mos Def, Lauryn Hill and Mary J Blige.
The band are known for their rich harmonies and the magical, sweet tone that make it impossible to mistake this band for any other.
