Richie Ros
The life story of Richie Ros is a testament to the human spirit and to the cathartic healing nature of music. Growing up in a state run orphanage in Limerick city, Ireland, Richie recalls feeling confused as to why his life was unfolding in the way it was.
It was on Richie's 11th birthday that his long sought after guitar eventually materialised from a teacher who taught him he’s very first song on the guitar “Johnny Be Goode”. To cope with such emotional turmoil Richie began writing and performing his own songs and he developed his own inner world where his emotions were expressed through music.

Larkham and Hall bring the warmth and vibrancy of their personalities to their stage show as they take audiences on a roller-coaster ride of emotions, often regaling them with tales of their hair-raising adventures through Europe and Latin America. There’s no real translation for the Spanish word ‘Duende’, the indefinable magic at the heart of Flamenco. It’s something that can’t be possessed or explained, only felt. Join Larkham and Hall on their quest to bring the raw, emotional power of Duende to English song. You may not know what it is, but you’ll know it when you feel it.

The life story of Richie Ros is a testament to the human spirit and to the cathartic, healing nature of music. Growing up in a state-run orphanage in Limerick city, Ireland, Richie recalls feeling confused as to why his life was unfolding in the way it was. On Richie's 11th birthday, he was presented with a guitar by a teacher who taught him to play his first ever song, "Johnny B. Goode". Richie began writing and performing his own songs and developed his own inner world where his emotions were expressed through music. Despite the trauma of his early years, Richie refused to let his past define him. He had no control over the events in his life, but the one thing he did have control over was his attitude. Fate found him David Odlum, Grammy Award winning former producer of The Frames, who agreed to produce Richie’s Debut album “Odyssey” at Black box studio, France. As its name suggests, the album recounts the journey of a young boy who, in spite of all the odds stacked against, him has worked to create his own fairytale. The music in his soul had, in his own words, finally “set him free”.

Award winning Bristol folk-rock / alt-americana songwriting duo. Known for their crowd engaging live shows, Sarah Larkham and Elliot Hall write intelligently crafted songs with a lyrical poetry and big, heart touching melodies. They dynamically combine her hugely versatile country-soul voice with his gravelly, growly tones - garnering obvious comparisons with Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons as well as the ever present Stevie Nicks comparison. Their music incorporates alt-country, rock and soul sensibilities, taking influences from artists as diverse as Carole King, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, PP Arnold and Spanish flamenco. Brooding singer-songwriter Elliot (Bristol songwriter of the year 2012) who writes 'with a rare honesty and passion' (Anna Britten Venue Magazine) is joined by fellow songwriter, soul and country singer Sarah, who also plays cajon (‘A vocal dynamo. A true songbird of Americana’ Bluesdoodles / 'achingly soulful voice' Bristol Folk Festival) Often joined by Charlie Rose on violin and piano.
