Midland Mods Mayday- From Melanddi to the Modern World' featuring Special Guest Phil Daniels

We will be bringing you bands, DJ's, film screenings, visuals, exhibitions, pop up stores, guests and more all under one roof
You can expect the best of the 'Old Guard whilst also 'Digging the New Breed'
Iconic Quadrophenia actor Phil Daniels AKA Jimmy Cooper will be our special guest meeting fans for photos and autographs.

We have 'The Jam - About The Young Idea Exhibition' joining us as well as the return of iconic Carnaby St Mod store 'Melanddi for one day only.
Detour Records will be setting up selling the best in Mod vinyl.

Our debut event takes place at The Crossing, in Digbeth, Birmingham on Saturday 9th May 2026 from 2pm till 1130pm

Sharp Class

Inspired by the likes of iconic artists such as The Clash, The Who and The Specials, British power-trio Sharp Class write music that fuses the illustrious DNA of punk, soul, power-pop, Brit-pop and rock ‘n’ roll.

The Circles

Formed in the West Midlands in 1979, The Circles were an integral voice in the UK’s mod revival scene, blending the energy of punk with classic 1960s mod influences. Their vibrant sound and sharp lyrics earned critical acclaim through singles like "Opening Up”, "Circles" and “Angry Voices”. Despite breaking up in 1980, the band’s passionate fan base kept their legacy alive through reissues and compilations. The band reunited in 2019 and have since released 2 singles and 2 EP's on Detour Records plus their latest double album, "Anthology" which chronicles the bands 45 year career. The Circles continue to resonate across generations, celebrated for their melodic power, lyrical depth, and energetic live shows.

Former member of The Chords now playing solo with a mix of old and new material.

Karla Milton Collective

Funk and Soul and Groove. The Karla Milton Collective are based around the sultry soul voice of lead singer/songwriter Karla Milton, known throughout the UK mod scene for her time with DC Fontana. Alongside Steve Trigg, Trumpet/Songwriter, the pair have put to together the Collective. Drawing on musicians from across the UK music scene, who have been seen on stage with notable acts such as Bad Manners, Robert plant, Steve Winwood, Johnny Cash Roadshow plus more as well as fronting their own projects. The nine piece band bring inflections of Jazz, funk and soul which all sit within the mission statement - 'groove and play songs'.
