John Richards has been writing, and people have covered his songs, for nearly fifty years now.
This line up has the wonderful vocals of John's daughter Emma, the excellent fiddle and vocals of Emily Sanders and the outstanding musicianship of Jim Sutton on Double Bass and Keyboards with a collection of John's songs old and new that you will probably be humming for days after the gig.
The John Richards Band
A five piece who are one of the Midland's most influential folk bands; their songs have been covered by Fairport Convention, Show of Hands, Michael Black, Damien Barber, Bill Caddick, Bram Taylor and Paul Downes to name a few.
