"Kate Bush on crack, Alanis Morissette in the art cinema" was how Rolling Stone magazine described this quirky New York singer-songwriter and pianist. Recalling the aforementioned Bush blended with Maria Callas, Prince and Kathleen Hannah, where pop meets opera meets Riot Grrrl. Young has sung with several artists including David Bowie, Morrissey, Brian Molko of Placebo and The Damned.
