Tender Claws was born in Belfast and is now based in Liverpool. Her fuzz-heavy, 90s-reminiscent sound comprises powerful grunge-influenced outbursts & softer episodes, scattered with serrated guitar & synth elements. Her distinctively sonorous vocals shift between alluring velvet tones & banshee-like wails, guiding the aura of her songs. These elements result in her unique, dark take on alt rock. She's inspired by the addictive hooks, affecting melodies and harsh gritty tones of alternative behemoths such as Nine Inch Nails, Garbage, Hole and Chelsea Wolfe.
