Retrospective
After over a decade shaking up the North West music scene, indie maverick Jim Pearson takes a final bow before heading to London - and he’s not going quietly.
This one-off retrospective at Future Yard reunites his cult band Scaredycats for their first show in two years, bringing their sharp wit and scrappy brilliance back to the stage. Expect chaos, charm, and a few curveballs. Also joining are ethereal art-pop duo Igloo Hearts - long-time collaborators and kindred spirits.
Rare performances, real emotion, and a night full of surprises. Come say goodbye the only way Jim knows how: loud, weird, and wonderful.
Scaredycats
Wirral-based band Scaredycats were formed at the start of 2015. They deliver an eclectic mix of songs with influences as broad as The Kinks, Talking Heads and Frank Zappa, and are fast gaining a reputation for originality of their live performances and songwriting. They were recently featured on Tom Robinson’s BBC 6 music Introducing show, and are busy working on new material for their debut album release next year.

Igloo Hearts
Originating from Wrexham, Igloo Hearts are a captivating duo blending classical piano, folk influences, and contemporary energy. Married couple James (guitar/vocals) and Katie MacGregor (piano/vocals) infuse their music with originality and charm, building tracks around classical piano, alluring chord progressions, and impeccable harmonies. Drawing inspiration from Jesca Hoop, Mitski, Radiohead, and Kate Bush, they meld classical and folk elements with modern sensibilities.
