The BIGG Spring Ceilidh

We welcome back the highly acclaimed Govannen for our BIGG Spring Ceilidh!

Celebrating 30 years together this year, their blend of jigs, reels, traditional and contemporary songs, and ceilidhs have delighted fans across the UK. They have released 9 albums including their Celtic Christmas album which was used in the animated movie 'How To Train Your Dragon'. With their twin fiddles, strong vocals and band sound, a fun evening is guaranteed from this talented and entertaining band.

Chris Conway, Dan Britton & Roger Wilson are all singer-songwriters in their own right. Chris has played with Peter Tork (The Monkees), members of Fairport Convention & Jethro Tull. Dan has worked with members of 10CC, Lindisfarne & The Waterboys, among others. The Conway & Britton duo have opened for Jefferson Starship, Bob Geldoff, & Roy Wood. Roger has worked with Martin Carthy, Kate Rusby, and was in John Tams' War Horse at the National Theatre.
