Dave O'Higgins

Saxophonist Dave is a composer, arranger and educator. Whilst studying at the City University in London he started his own jazz quartet and began gigging with NYJO, John Dankworth & Cleo Laine, & Icelandic jazz-funk band, Mezzoforte. Over the years Dave has won various accolades from the British Jazz Awards including Best Tenor Sax. He teaches saxophone and harmony at the London Centre for Contemporary Music and Goldsmiths College.…

Alan Barnes

A key figure on the British jazz scene since the late 1970s, Alan Barnes' strong tone, assured improvisations and imaginative arranging technique have marked him out as one of the country's top players, respected by both his audience and fellow players alike. Alan has broadcast regularly over a ten-year period with the BBC Big Band and Radio Orchestra. He played on film and television soundtracks and jingles. In 2001 and 2006 Alan received the prestigious BBC Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year award.

Luke Fowler

Luke Fowler is an award-winning artist. He is also part of the experimental music scene in Glasgow through his bands Rude Pravo and Lied Music, and his record label and multimedia platform SHADAZZ.
