Somewhere Over England's intelligently crafted, narratively based indie folk sound, fused with deliciously catchy melodies and augmented by sumptuous vocal harmonies is reminiscent of the more reflective sounding guitar bands of the 90s. Along with Tears For Fears and The Korgis, SOE emerged from the Bath local music scene in the 1980s - probably the greatest period for popular music in the city.
