Al Steele & Friends most recent concept album is an irreverent tale of God's and Men. It has been described as the unholy offspring of Sister Act and The Matrix! Al has been one of the lead songwriters in The Korgis for the last 7 years, and responsible for all the videos and stage sets since then.

This is the story of a computer programmer called Gordon the God. He creates the heavens and (notably) the Earth in seven days including a couple of misfits called Adam and Eve. The Gods then place bets on how it will all end up. However, all is not well in Gordon’s camp, as he has broken some rules, in particular the one about fraternising with humans. This comes to the attention of ‘GOD’, who incidentally is his ex, and holy hell ensues! As you would imagine this does not end well... or does it?

This would-be Musical would disgrace the stage of any West End theatre!

It stars Danielle Nicholls (Danielle Nicholls Band, The Korgis) as God - a first for the females(!), Lyndon Morgans (Songdog) as Adam, Elaine Gilmore (Simply Bacharach) as Eve, Lorna Darknell as Demeter, Paul Smith (The Korgis) as a Nephilim, and Al Steele (The Korgis, Shabbey Road Studios) as the upstart God, Gordon.

This is a full band event so expect a crammed stage and various levels of outrageous behaviour. Al does not do basic!

Let's Play the God Game will be performed in its entirety and there will be a 2nd set featuring many more guests including Australian author/artist/songwriter Joe Matera, Songdog, Paul Griffin and Emily Holiday. Joe will do a short support slot and also join the band for The Korgis co-writes Always a Sunny Day and Letter to Geelong.

COME ALONG!... it will definitely be fun - you won't be disappointed!
