About the show
Virtuoso violinist Nigel Kennedy returns for his first and biggest UK tour in over ten years. Celebrating his 70th birthday in 2026, he is as fresh and entertaining as ever.
This will be a special evening of classical, jazz, and contemporary repertoire. Expect breathtaking Bach, alongside A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square. Nigel’s own compositions will feature, including a moving tribute to Yehudi Menuhin and Stephane Grappelli, who taught, mentored and inspired him during his early years.
Accompanied by his great friends Alec Dankworth (son of the late John Dankwork and Cleo Laine) on double bass, and Peter Adams on cello, this is a rare opportunity to witness one of the greatest musicians this country has ever produced.
Kennedy’s 1989 hit recording of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons made him an international star and transformed the classical music scene for the better. His inclusive and open-minded approach to all styles of music continues to this day and has won him fans all over the world.
Nigel combines energy, dynamics and mind-blowing technical and emotional musicality, which will leave you spellbound.
