Philomena Begley

Irish country singer Philomena Begley started out the Old Cross Bandshow in the late 60s. As a solo artist, Begley had a hit with her version of Billie Jo Spears' hit song 'Blanket On The Ground' reaching no.5 in the Irish Charts, outselling the original Spears version! Robert Mizzell

Most Irish Country stars head for America for fame and fortune, but not in the case of American boy, Robert Mizzell, who, a few years ago came over here to go on the road and become Ireland's top country star! After nearly giving up trying, the big break came when he became an overnight celebrity with the hit song 'Say You Love Me'.

Declan Nerney

One of Ireland's most popular country music performers with a string of hit albums, videos and singles. He has played in venues as wide ranging as New York's 5th Avenue to cruise ships in the Carribean. He has also done a number of TV specials.

Mick Flavin

Mick was encouraged by Declan Nerney to record his first album and in June of that year they went in to a recording studio in Athlone and put down 10 tracks. This album was an unprecedented success and he recorded with Harmac and Ritz Records recording a total of 12 albums and 3 videos. Silver and Gold Discs are some of the honours Country Music has rewarded him with and in 2005, Mick was nominated for the Country Music Association Global Artist Award.
