The superb Lyric Chamber Orchestra is joined by members of the Exeter String Ensemble and local children will also be playing in this exciting concert. the programme includes newly-commissioned music from two Devon composers: Gabrielle Mills from South Brent and Ashburton's own Elfyn Jones; alongside established works written in the past century by Hans Gal and Jeff Moore.
This concert also showcases two outstanding young local musicians, Sophia Jackson and Finn Miller-Gonski, the well-known Ashburton-based composer and flautist, Ruth Molins and cello soloist Jeremy Capey.

Formed in 2022, The Lyric Chamber Orchestra, has established itself as an inspired, imaginative and exciting string ensemble. The orchestra combines a perfect balance of professional, semi-professional and amateur musicians from around South Devon. Each musician brings a wealth of performance experience, with a passion for communicating the music it performs.
