Middle Eastern Muwashahat and Bengali Tagore Music

Samar Zeki and Majid Hedayat will be performing Classical Middle Eastern songs using drums and voice. Samar Zeki is a vocalist from Iraq, she is interested in singing Classical and folk Arabic genres from the Levant and Iraq. Majid Hedayat is an Iranian percussionist. He was trained to play Tombak in Iran since childhood. He played with various groups in Iran and the UK.
